COATESVILLE – Mrs. Lulu E. Russell, 86, of this community, died Tuesday in the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Richard Johnson of Oxford, Ind. She had been in failing health the past year. Born June 27, 1880, she was a daughter of William and Laura Martin Anglin. She married Alonzo Russell, who died in 1947. Mrs. Russell was a member of the Coatesville Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Ralph of Coatesville; a sister, Mrs. Mary Doney of Santa Barbara, Calif.; five grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a daughter. Mrs. Dora McCloud, in 1942 and a granddaughter, Mrs. Lucille Spragg, in 1963. Funeral rites are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the Coatesville Christian Church, with burial in the Coatesville Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at the Weaver Funeral Home here. – jlr
